The BilderHören concert series combines music with visual art and is an integral part of the cultural programme at the LWL Museum of Art and Culture in Münster. The results of this concert format are exciting pairings that tell cultural history and expand the perception of art sensually and atmospherically.

What would Münster be today without its baroque past? The image of the city was reshaped in baroque building fervour and according to European models and shaped by master builders such as Pictorius or Schlaun. With architectural tours and guided tours, the festival explores baroque traces on site. Inspired by the musical life of the noble courts of Westphalia and with reference to Münster’s music collections, concerts will take place with various instrumentations.
